3,000 GEO Names from $19 – (with Download List)

** Updated with link to download a .zip /.csv file of all 3,000 domains) **

Every portfolio owner will let domains drop from time to time and its not uncommon to see the very same names sell for high amounts because they are expired domains. It’s one of the ironic twists of this industry where a private seller may not get a whole lot for a domain but stamp the label “expired” and baby, we have bidders.

In a test to see if its worth our time to simply let domains expire quietly or actively promote them here is a list of 3,000 GEO domains we own that are listed for sale at SnapNames with over 95% of these domains having a reserve of $19. Some of these will probably drop, while others we may keep when it comes to review – either way, we are going to test the waters here.

Are they all great names?

Of course not, but many are worth much more than $19 and most have great keyword development value.

So the question is why are we dropping most of these names?

Simple.

Fine-tuning our portfolio – every year some go, some stay.

So the test is to you.

If it works in a way where our time can be justified then we will continue to do this before we drop any names.

Hello, neither link above bring the list. Is it somewhere else?

    TLuv,

You can now also download the list – Snapnames does not offer downloadable lists on custom searches so the links in the article have been updated to offer a csv file for download.

    Simply visit this page.

Yeah… I guess that you will be letting a lot of those drop. If they were all .com then a lot would be worth holding on to but not .org and .net. The only value that comes from names like that is in development and developing 3000 is a huge job!

    Good luck with that.

We probably will but a lot of these are also worth a lot more than $19.

Developing 3,000 is a BIG project for anyone (I’m tired thinking about it lol) but hopefully some see it as opportunity to pick up some decent geo names at basically reg fee before they drop.

over 1,600 of these names are .com

Have no expectations to sell 50% of these but its a test to see if its worth us to do this in the future as we manage a lot of names.

Hopefully it helps and if not we will do what everybody else does – let names drop and allow the registrars to keep the money. Will be interesting to see what the turnout is – thanks for taking a look.
