I started in 1997 and also would say stats are off a bit but overall the growth pattern was interesting.</description>

In mid 1995 (Aug) there was about 18,000 total domains registered.  I know because I started then and remember looking at the opportunity and distinctly remember that figure as my starting point in domaining.</description>
