Really surprised not to see 100 comments on this post. Excellent information. Maybe everybody is doing affiliate research. Anyway, I’m always glad to see posts from domainers that goes beyond simply mentioning development and actually sharing actionable, in-depth information as it pertains to monetization. Domain conferences are going to die a pretty rapid death. Development Conferences like Epik.com is putting on, and Affiliate Conferences (like the aforementioned), are where domainers need to be going. We all know HOW to buy Internet Real Estate, now we need best practices on how to monetize it.

Side note to Alan and team.
Will you PLEASE start posting text links that open a new window!? You are pushing readers away with every hyperlink you post. Your stats and ad revenues will thank you. As will I.
