Small Business Loans – No Personal Guarantee
By Alan on Mar 23, 2008 in Business Loans
A friend of mine owns a few really good names and is finally thinking of development (about time I say). Problem is that his main gig as a real estate agent has been obviously affected by the drop in home sales resulting in lower commissions.
Lower income can sometimes lead to a few small credit issues. Although most credit problems are usually temporary they can pose a significant burden for obtaining credit in today’s world.
If you have a LLC or Corporation with a DNB number or Taxpayers ID it is possible to obtain credit solely under the business name. This means no personal guarantee (you can finally separate business and personal) and may help you obtain credit when you thought there was no hope.
Life is a roller coaster but many small business owners have no idea about credit options available. My suggestion to my friend (and to you) would be to visit CreditBoards.com – it’s a great source for finding those lenders who will judge your business on its own merits.
Good luck to all.

Development is no different than domaining. The risks can be high but the rewards even greater : )
